Your plans are yours. Here is how we handle the data behind them.

This notice explains what Voltcraft collects, why it is needed, which services help us operate the product, and the choices available to you.

Who is responsible for your information

Voltcraft provides the electrical panel planning service at voltcrafting.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@voltcraft-app.com.

We use personal information to provide accounts and saved projects, operate subscriptions, keep the service secure, respond to support requests and deliver features you choose to use.

Account control

You can request access, correction or deletion.

Essential storage

Authentication and project storage support the service.

AI by choice

Project content is sent for AI processing only when you use AI tools.

Information we collect and why

  • Account and access: email address, password hash, account role, subscription status and usage allowances. We use these to authenticate you and provide the service attached to your account.
  • Projects and configuration: rooms, loads, names, power values, calculated panels, editor state and related project details. We use these to calculate, save and display your work.
  • AI inputs: prompts, voice recordings or files you choose to submit, plus the project context needed to answer. Avoid including personal or confidential information that is not required for the task.
  • Billing records: customer, subscription and transaction references supplied by Paddle. Paddle handles payment card details; Voltcraft does not store your complete card number.
  • Security and diagnostics: IP address, browser and request information, timestamps, errors and security events may be processed to protect and troubleshoot the service.

Our main legal bases are performance of a contract when we provide an account, saved projects or a subscription; legitimate interests in securing, maintaining and improving the service; legal obligations that apply to billing and records; and consent where the law requires it for an optional action.

Cookies, browser storage and retention

Voltcraft uses essential authentication and security cookies so you can sign in safely. Browser storage may hold guest drafts and editor preferences on your device. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

Account and project data is kept while needed to provide your account and service. Billing records may be retained when required by law. Security logs, backups and password reset records are kept for limited operational periods. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it where reasonably possible.

You can clear local browser data in your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out and permanently remove an unsaved guest project.

Your choices and data rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Email info@voltcraft-app.com with the account email and a clear description of your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

Security: we use access controls, encrypted connections and restricted production credentials to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and keep it private.
